Josh Powers is very active in both the local 4-H Club and his FFA Chapter. He is currently serving as President of both. Joy and Jeff Powers serve as Adult leaders and volunteers for both clubs.
Josh Powers is a member of the local 4-H Club and FFA Chapter where he has served in many capacities including President of both. He has won several state awards including Livestock Judging, Tractor Driving and Sales & Service.
Josh Powers harvested these nice Coyotes on our farm in Bedford County
Joy Powers has been on several missionary trips including El Salvador, Nicaragua and Malawi. Joy and Josh have purchased farm land and have started a non-profit to assist people in Malawi, Africa called Restore the Harvest.
Josh Powers has been showing at the Central Virginia 4H/FFA Livestock Show since he was 9 years old. He shown numerous champions and he has won the prestigious Luther Dodd Award for the Outstanding Showman, twice.
Jeff, Karen, Joy and Josh Powers are all active member so the Chamblissburg Ruritan Club.
Jeff Powers is serving as Chairman of the Bedford Agriculture Economic Development Advisory Board. Joy Powers Serves District 2 on this board also.
